General Assistant Manager
Responsibilities
Work closely with and assist the owners in their day-to-day operations.
Provides general supervision, including interviewing and hiring, employee engagement, and attendance.
Delegates and assign duties to HOD’s and observers’ performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures.
Work with and assist the property owners during morning meetings or conducts the morning HOD meetings in the absence of the owners.
Responsible for conducting in – house training to employees and HOD’s in the hotel or a regular basis.
Acts as the hotels public relations director and promotes the property within the hotel industry, local community, and trade associations.
Coordinate with marketing team members to develop promotional campaigns, new product launches, and other events that will drive business.
Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data, operating expenses, and profit margins.
Receives and resolved or assists the owners in resolving guest complaints and service recovery process.
Responsible for enforcing full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures, and service standards.
Ensures the objectives and goals of the hotel and property owners work together to achieve brand positioning and success.
Setting an example to team members of commitment and process expertise.
Ensures property, grounds, physical plants, and work areas maintained to standard.
Interacting and cooperating with all members
Minimum Qualifications
5 years of experience in the hospitality industry,
Degree in hospitality management or similar,
Proven ability to drive sales and increase both Occupancy and ADR,
Excellent organizational and leadership skills,
Trustworthy and has a strong sense of integrity,
Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines,
Strong attention to details & clear communication skills,
Flexible and independent worker – able to work well with minimal supervision and have a problem- solving attitude,
Computer Literacy to effectively operate and manipulate online management systems,
Excellent administration skills to ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
